Pokemon Go Updates! - Catching Up #1

As mentioned in a previous post, towards the end of my holiday I started playing Pokemon Go again. It's been two months since then and i've pretty much played daily. While I do have temporary moments of clarity where I realise I am spending a significant portion of time catching virtual creatures, I do somewhat enjoy it anyways.

Holding a Kalbarri Gym for 45 days!

During my trip at Kalbarri I visited a lookout/trail up in the hills - several kilometres out of town. Pestering my friends, I took the gym located there while they waited in the car. I then went on to hold this gym for more than 45 days, with another random Mystic member joining me. However, all good things come to an end and an unknown player kicked me out. There's no chance i'm heading back any time soon so it'll remain a mystery for quite some time. The Magneton used has been honorarily named Trail Guard and favourited, destined to enjoy a relaxed life for the rest of it's days. This gym is still my only gold badge although I do have a couple others close to joining it. If any locals desire to take the gym it's located at the Malleefowl Trail!

A long 45 days did this poor Magneton stay posted

My New Shiny Collection

I've caught quite a few more shinies since my last post involving Pokemon Go. The shiny Cerebii was a nice suprise I wasn't expecting. The Zigzagoon and Starly lines are obviously from the last couple community days I participated in. I did get the shiny Hydreigon from the makeup community day but I honestly didn't realise it was on until the last 15 minutes so I only got a single one. Rest of the shinies are from random spawns with my favourite probably being Karablast since I love the green colouring. Won't evolve it though since the evolution ruins the colour scheme.

I'm going to be honest, I forgot I had this much. Got more at the GO Fest as well!

A Few Four Stars

While none of them are of particular note minus the Zarude, I have caught a few four stars in the last couple months. Hoping I eventually get a Shundo.

Legendaries

Also finally got my first legendary a month or two ago. After numerous tries I crafted a team capable of defeating Giovanni and caught a shadow Latios. The stats weren't amazing but I was happy to have it. I've caught a decent amount of other legendaries since then, especially after I started using remote raid passes and PokeGenie. Caught both the legendary dogs, all the available ultra beasts, Palkia and the recently released Cosmog. None are particularly amazing but i'm happy to own them. Had to catch two Zamazenta for a certain purpose which will require a seperate post! :)

 GO Fest Finale 2022

I'll also reserve this for a seperate post but I did attend the GO Fest Finale and scored a few nice catches!
